 and other favourite     destinations

  - the Site to learn all about this famous New Orleans institution, plus some great sound clips of the Preservation Hall Band - and look out for a certain " Saints $ 5 " sign hanging up on the wall - might be familiar !!

the official Site of the Louis Armstrong House and Archives, a National Historic Landmark and also a  New York City Landmark - discover a fine day out as an alternative to emptying the wallet on Fifth Avenue !

- every wise north west ( and beyond ) jazz lover's Bookmark Nr. 1 - the Site visitor numbers speak for themselves - it's our portal  !
Disappointed at the amount of our music on the BBC ?  Then just log on to " OH  ZEE ", close the eyes and you're live in the Crescent City - two hours of  streaming  Traditional Jazz ( mostly )  played every day, 3 until 5 p.m. UK summer time.
Another Website that's for sure a labour of love, Dutchman Willem Weijt's Bunk Johnson pages - all the detail you could ever want to know ! Why not find out a little too about life on a Louisiana  plantation, " Shadows on the Teche " in New Iberia, now a preserved National Historic Monument.
And for something completely different !  Dove Jazz Club is proud to have been able to make a financial donation towards the considerable costs involved in the building of the magnificent new Pavilion, and it's associated facilities, by Dove Holes Cricket Club. It fulfils the need in a manner greatly in excess of most people's wildest dreams when the idea of a replacement Pavilion was first muted. Many congratulations to all concerned !
